More bugs!

Well the whole family of course ended up ill. Josh and Roarke got chest infections, Jonathan and I have had throat infections, and even Samuel and William have the heavy cough with this bad cold. Now my Mum has gone down with it too :0(

Reading blog posts, emails to lists, and Facebook status updates it seems like most of the country has either a version of the NOVO virus (which we had last month!) or this latest flu bug.

Just as last week Roarke ended up with more castings than usual, which seemed unfair as he was so ill, this week he ended up with more work!

He worked on an 11 hour overnight shoot for a scene for Perrier's Bounty (starring Cillian Murphy, Jim Broadbent and Brendan Gleeson), and today got a call back to go and do another overnighter tomorrow night. This is a £5m film so he's really enjoyed being on a proper shoot. He got to work with dogs as well, which he enjoys, as his supporting artist role as a "Gang Member & Dog Handler".

This has of course meant him having to sleep during the day, and tonight he'll have to sit up late on his own downstairs to keep his body clock swung around ready for tomorrow night!

It has been relatively quiet here (other than the hacking coughs!) with Samuel and William spending several days wrapped in blankets on the sofa watching the tv (good job we got Sky+ as an early Christmas present!), and Josh wrapped in his duvet in his room on his laptop.

The Christmas shopping is complete, bar something for my nephew, and hopefully this year I'll remember to wrap the presents in good time too...

We've missed out on all the social activities this week as it would be unfair on others for us to turn up and spread our germs around, so I'm going a little bit stir crazy...
