Tudor Times

On Friday we had a great visit to Hall Place.

We had two workshops - one covering food and the difference between what the rich, and the poor ate. The children all had a chance to make a bees wax candle - it was great to have something that even the younger ones could do.

The second was about their clothing and houses - again looking at the differences.

The great thing was that all of us felt we'd learnt something - Roarke and I included!

I struggled with the day as, the day before, I started having my "irritable uterus" pains, so after our packed lunch we left, leaving the trail sheets for another day (as we live so close, and its free to go in).

We called in to see some friends, and had a more relaxing afternoon, ending up staying for dinner.

Roarke had to pop out for a base line ECG assessment - the doctor has discovered that he has an extra systolic beat and sent him for the assessment in order to be able to monitor his progress as his training for the triathlon increases.

I've been busy again this weekend on the web project I'm working on - which is nearly finished, so watch out for another post to reveal all...

I must admit these pains are getting quite bad. They seem to now be starting around dinner time, and gradually get worse until around 10ish. At the moment they are 4 1/2 minutes apart, and hurt enough that I can't move when they are happening, and have to consciously work on my breathing. Not good at only 23 weeks.

Well then ma'am I think you need to get your feet up and rest quick sharp!!!
On a serious note, do take care and rest as much as you can. I had the irritable uterus pains with my 1st,3rd and 4th pregnancies and being taken in to hospital cos I wouldnt rest was awful
Thinking of you, hope it settles soon.
