Bits and Pieces

Joshua has started on the Nelson English Development book that someone gave me a while ago. He got quite into it, as it starts with a piece on how to develop your story writing - something he is very interested in.

Samuel continues to work slowly through a BBC book that he has, all about amazing science.

Roarke has been on the early shift all week, getting up around 4am, so its felt like a very long week for us all!

Still, the high spot - Saturday we booked our Eurodisney holiday!

We went for the first time 4 years ago, without William (who stayed happily with his Nan and Grandad), for 4 days and 3 nights. Roarke and I expected to hate it (not really being into Disney ourselves - unless you mean pixar!) but we actually all enjoyed ourselves.

Ever since William was old enough to know about Disneyland and to realise that his brothers had been, we've been promising him his turn, once he was five.

So, we are booked to go for 3 nights, 4 days, to the Sequoia Lodge (which we went to last time, so it is the same for Samuel) in September. Therefore, we'll have our new, somewhere around 3 months old addition with us! Could be interesting... Still, we couldn't go before as I wouldn't be able to go on most of the rides, plus I don't think it would be a good idea with my maternity health!

Predictably, William is asking every hour "when are we going?"!

Still have no aerial - we've bought the new one but have not had the chance for Roarke to go up the ladder and fix it. Must try and do that before it snows! Doubt we'll get much, and I still don't think the boys realise that we'll get far less snow here in Orpington than we ever did in Chatham...

Oh good one; that should be great fun.
I've been thinking about booking our 1st ever family holiday. I must look into Disneyland as an option.

I don't think I'd tell the children until a week before though. I'd imagine that Duncan would be constantly pushing me to the car to go, or we'd be unable to drive past the airport, if he knew!

I know you'll have great fun, my b-i-l took my then 5 year old nephew as a surprise and they talked about it for weeks after. Elle
