Treasure Troves

I've spent all day working in the garden, continuing to move my plants out of the soon-to-be-boys play area. Oh boy am I in agony!

I've also got a sinus headache - but no sinus headache medicine left :-(

S and W came out into the garden with me and started digging in their new area. They decided they were digging for treasure, and kept bringing me their finds - tiles, pretty stones etc. When they weren't looking, I popped some pennies into the bottom of the hole. That made them really happy and kept the interest in digging going all day! We had the chance to discuss some great things - geography, history, science - whilst they were digging.

Meanwhile, J spent some time on the computer, learning. He has been working on the Europa Go website. His favourite is the game where you must place the countries of Europe in the right place on the map. Today he managed to get all but one right - he knows more than I do now!

My Dad went for his results today. Unfortunately, they still are "not sure" what the problem is and have said he needs to have another biopsy on Tuesday. Unfortunately Dad has really gone down in his mood following that and is not in a very good way tonight. If you could pray for him, and for Mum to be able to cope, I would be really grateful.

On a lighter note, my educational link for the day - virtual tours of various places of historical significance brought to you by the BBC.

I'm going to stop now - it hurts to type!

Hi, I hope you feel better. I just wanted to let you know I'm "blogging" again, though I may not be online much. Here's where I am:
