another update...

Nothing to report yet! Arrgghh! Need more prayers/vibes/raspberry leaf tea...

Got admitted, was monitored, had an internal. Yes, I'm officially in early labour.

Basically Jonathan is fully engaged and this has triggered the irritable uterus big time: the contractions are labour strength but not yet lasting long enough, so everything is only SLOWLY moving but could take days (it took 10 days with Samuel!).

They suggested keep coming in regularly to be checked, to see what is happening, as once I get to 3/4cm they'll keep me in due to risk of v.quick delivery (last one was 5 minutes, and as this is no 4, they reckon it COULD be fast again).

Feel a real charlie keep going into and out of hospital with my bag all packed though...

Still, they seem to be saying that if this goes on for a day or two with nothing else happening, then they are likely to try to help it along its way.

Can't seem to focus on much at the moment! Just logged in quickly to check my emails, and thought I'd put another update here.

I'm sure you ladies can all understand my frustration... I'm also very tired from being in pain for so much of the day. This morning was alright - kept at bay by paracetomol - but they've got closer and stronger again this afternoon.

Mentally, I'm thinking if it's still like this by Monday we'll go in and see if anything has happened, and as long as there has been SOME change (please all pray!) push for an inducement.
